2nd Annual Benefit Concert for BSD Mckinney-Vento Program
Melodies of McKinney-Vento hosted a benefit concert and art exhibition with local young musicians and artists to support the Beaverton School District's McKinney-Vento Program. The McKinney-Vento Program protects the educational rights of students who lack a fixed, regular or adequate nighttime residence.
In the 2024 to 2025 school year, the McKinney-Vento Program has served 1,371 children who are experiencing housing insecurity. In order to support a program that aids one of the highest densities of homeless students in all of Oregon, our program used art to raise funds and awareness for these children. The proceeds of this concert will be used directly to support the needs of students served by the Beaverton School District McKinney-Vento team.
Through this concert, we successfully raised and donated a total of $3,250.

Melodies of McKinney-Vento will host a benefit concert with local young musicians. This event will support the Beaverton School District's McKinney-Vento Program. The Beaverton School School District has served over 1,200 unstably housed students this school year and has one of the highest densities of homeless students in all of Oregon. The McKinney-Vento Program is a federal act that protects the educational rights of students experiencing housing instability. The proceeds of this concert will be used to support the needs of students served by the Beaverton School District McKinney-Vento Program team.
Through this concert, we successfully raised and donated a total of $3,805.
Benefit concert
for the Türkiye Earthquake
We are honored to share that, in partnership with the Korean Society of Oregon and UNICEF, we hosted a benefit concert to support relief efforts for the Turkiye earthquake.
Through this concert, we successfully raised and donated a total of $33,537.
